Speaker: Relja Medić
Relja Medić, univ. bacc. ing. comp. graduated from Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at Zagreb University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree. Same year he started teaching Computer Science at V. gimnazija in Zagreb. Since 2012 he’s an R&D engineer in IKI d.o.o. IKI focuses on activities and technical solutions directed towards telecommunication operators, financial institutions and larger business systems in a transition process from existing communication networks and services to a new generation of communication infrastructure and services. So far he worked on development of projects from SITO family like SITO IPPOS and SITO SSL. In 2014 he started working on SSLNAC virtual transaction delivery controller project which was Cartes Sesames 2015 finalist in Connected Objects Applications (IoT) category in Paris, France. SSLNAC has also been shortlisted for Global Payments Awards 2015 in the Securing Payments category at PayExpo, Istanbul, Turkey. He also worked on other projects which include advanced technologies like expert testing, monitoring and measurement systems for IP, VoIP, IPTV, IP traffic monitoring and shaping (DPI – Deep Packet Inspection), increased availability and acceleration of IP/Web applications (ADC – Application Delivery Controllers) and different L2-L3 copper and fiber, pseudowire and wireless access networks implementation.
