Biljana is information systems risk management and compliance consultant and director of Ostendo Consulting, a company specialized in providing advisory services to clients operating in complex environments with stringent IT governance and security compliance requirements. Besides consulting, the company also provides secure information system development services and designs innovative IT solutions for business needs of clients in telecommunication and financial industry sectors. Biljana has over 15 years of experience in these fields, during which she's worked on projects with clients in domestic, but also USA, Norway and UK markets, among which were Stanford University, Amgen, English Heritage, Croatian ministries and most of the large banks, T-HT, Infobip and others. She is an active member of the international information systems audit and control association (ISACA) where she participates in leading world conferences as a speaker and program development task force member, and president of the Croatian chapter of the international information systems security certification consortium, (ISC)2.
