In this paper various issues about digital forensics and general IT security or cyber security will be addressed.
Lack of standards and standardization, various tools problems, interoperability of tools, organisational problems in private and governmental organisations in dealing with IT security and forensics. Definitions of terms, training, skills and knowledge, lack of success and interpretation of results. The aim of this paper is to rethink and reevaluate above mentioned topics often not spoken but well known.
