workshop: Using payment HSM in application
Creating demo app that uses business standard HSM available onsite
We will create demo app in Python that communicates with HSM available on-site and has ability to encrypt/decrypt data using HSM and we will go through basic off Credit Card Authorization process to see what data needs to be transmitted for acquiring transaction using HSM.
Communication with HSM is done via messages on low level TCP stream, so we will write code that is necessary to transmit messages and interpret answers. On that basis we will then create demo application in python for simple data protection and we will see how we use HSM in payment industry to protect data that is needed for authorization of transaction
